Art of Dawat LLC ("Art of Dawat", "we") runs artofdawat.com and hosts social events in New York City. This page explains what information we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write.
- Ticket purchases. When tickets go on sale, card payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email address and the details of your order. We never see or store your full card number.
- Guest list and sign-up form. If you fill in our sign-up form, we keep what you enter: your name, email, date of birth, city and state, the kinds of events you like, and how you heard about us. Some fields are optional: mobile number, gender, best nights, food allergies or dietary needs, event ideas, who referred you, and your Instagram handle.
How we use it
- To confirm your ticket and check you in at the door.
- To send you event details and, if you asked, news about future events.
- To plan events around what our guests enjoy, and to confirm guests are 18 or older.
- If you share it, to keep singles evenings balanced, and to pass dietary needs to the venue so your meal is right. We share dietary details only with the venue for your event.
- To answer your questions.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the services that help us run events, such as our payment processor and email provider, and only for that purpose.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, or ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@artofdawat.com.
Website basics
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages and uses fonts served by Google Fonts. Like most websites, those services may receive standard technical information such as your IP address when the page loads. We don't use advertising trackers.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
